Kohen briskly ushers the reader through her decade-long attempts at dieting, recounting dozens of diets that should be at least vaguely familiar to anyone who's read a beauty magazine. Kohen's revelation is likewise predictable: Once she stopped dieting and learned to really enjoy eating, she became healthier. While she comes across as likable enough that the reader cheers her on, ultimately there's little to distinguish Kohen's story from any similar piece.
